[ And today is a good day (well, it's still better than yesterday's mess, he'd like to hope) to go searching out for friends and making absolutely certain that they're doing alright, since he worries about those he's close to. Maybe it's because he's still partially Emiya Shirou, or maybe... it's just himself for once, it doesn't really matter.

⚔ post-motive w/ maya ( week three )

[ The hallucinations are... not exactly the best, but they haven't gotten worse than just this on Tuesday. At least, for the time being, anyway. Besides, he needs a distraction, and talking to other people can definitely be that distraction.

Hence why he's here to make some food and invite Maya out to talk. ]

If you want me to make some more, [ since he has some prepared snacks ] we can always talk in the kitchen if you'd like. Since I can cook and chat at the same time.

[ Even if he is seeing some faces that he shouldn't recall in the corner of his eye. ]

[ Well, he did promise that he would talk to her after everything, and once all the cooking and cleanup is done, he'll go and seek her out since he did, after all, promise that they'd talk again after they found out who the murderer is, after all. ]

[ Well, Shirou is going to be in the kitchen for as long as he's allowed, even more so when he needs a distraction. Cooking is that distraction for him, and doing the clean up... is also a good distraction, too, considering that it's better than doing nothing. It sucks that this is the least he can do but it's better than nothing.

He's also staying later because he knows that others might want food and hasn't gotten it just yet.

Of course if people don't actually show up period, he'll end up visiting them to make sure they've eaten. Otherwise. He's here. ]

⚔ post-investigation w/ max ( week two )

[ Well, that definitely was an investigation... and while he should be used to seeing dead bodies, this was definitely different from what he expected, but after that's said and done he's going to need a break. And food, actually.

But he might as well ask someone to come with him. And since he does want to have a nice chat with Max, he decides to ask her out to the kitchen while he makes some tea. He needs to make breakfast, too, since he knows nobody has eaten after all that... and he doubts people want cafeteria food. ]
